Photos of New York and Berlin by Michael Wesely using extremely long exposures in some cases over a year. They have the quality of old photos, a ghostly presence that seem at first glance almost ephemeral the reverse of what they actually are in many ways, as they show the additional layer of time and change added to the city. Cars and people travel too fast to be seen in this world, day and night blend into one. If buildings could see and experience this might be how the city looked to them……fabulous. A nice article about him here (via)
